Member must make available educational programs or materials for Clients. These Programs are to specifically focus on financial literacy.

We highly suggest our members include information about the FDCPA, The Fair Debt Collections Practice Act. Information about the act can be found here: FDCPA

We also highly encourage our members to provide the consumer with information specifically outlining sections from the FDCPA, The Fair Debt Collections Practice Act, specifically sections 805 Communication in connection with Debt Collection, 806 Harassment or Abuse, 807 False or Misleading Information, 808 Unfair Practices, and 809 Validation of Debts.

We also encourage our members have their staff certify as Certified Debt Specialists through the IAPDA, The International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators.

Members are encouraged to have a prominent social media presence with active responses to questions from consumers. We suggest having a presence on at least Facebook.
